1. Controller

10x Media GmbH, Kramerstr. 7, 87700 Memmingen, Germany Phone: +49 8333 5519842, email: info@10xmedia.de Represented by the managing directors Sandro Wegmann and Joshua Manuel Schmidt.

2. In short

  • Without your consent we use no analytics or advertising services. You can change your choice at any time under “Cookie settings” in the footer.
  • If you write to us through the request form, we store your details in our own customer system to answer your request.
  • We do not sell data and only share it with the service providers named below.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website runs on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. We have a data processing agreement with the provider under Art. 28 GDPR.

When you visit the website, the server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested page, referrer, browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the site and run it securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest unless they are needed longer to investigate a security incident.

The connection is encrypted with TLS, which you can recognise by “https://” in the address bar.

4. Fonts (Adobe Fonts)

We use fonts from Adobe Fonts, a service of Adobe Systems Software Ireland Limited, 4–6 Riverwalk, Citywest Business Park, Dublin 24, Ireland. When the page loads, your browser fetches the fonts from Adobe’s servers, which transmits your IP address to Adobe. According to Adobe, no cookies are set. We have a legitimate interest in a consistent presentation of our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A transfer to the USA is possible; Adobe is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More: adobe.com/privacy/policies/adobe-fonts.html.

All other fonts are served from our own server.

5. Consent and your stored choice

We store your choice from the consent banner in your browser’s local storage (key tenx-consent). This is technically necessary so that we can respect your decision (§ 25(2) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). You can change or withdraw your choice at any time under “Cookie settings” in the footer. Withdrawal takes effect for the future.

6. Statistics (only with consent)

PostHog. If you consent to “Statistics”, we use PostHog, a service of PostHog Inc., 2261 Market St., San Francisco, CA 94114, USA. Data is processed on servers in the EU (Frankfurt). PostHog records which pages are visited and how the website is used, and stores an identifier in your browser for this. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG).

Google Analytics / Google tag. Also only with consent to “Statistics”, we load the Google tag of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. It measures website usage and sets cookies for this. A transfer to the USA is possible; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent.

7. Advertising (only with consent)

If you consent to “Marketing”, we use Google Ads conversion measurement (Google Ireland Limited). It shows us whether someone came to the website through one of our ads and sent a request. Cookies are set for this. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG).

Without consent, neither the Google tag nor PostHog is loaded.

8. Request form, email and phone

When you contact us through the request form, by email or by phone, we process your details (name, contact details, company, your answers and message) to handle your request and prepare a possible project (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and in our legitimate interest in answering requests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Form requests go straight into our self-hosted customer system as a contact. We delete the data once the request has been fully handled and no contract follows, at the latest after two years; statutory retention periods remain unaffected. To prevent abuse, the form checks that it was filled in by hand and briefly limits the number of requests per IP address in memory.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3)). Write to info@10xmedia.de.

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR). Where we process data on the basis of a legitimate interest, you can object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. You can object to direct marketing at any time without giving reasons.

Right to lodge a complaint. You can complain to a data protection supervisory authority, for example the authority responsible for us, the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.

10. Changes

We update this policy when the website or the services it uses change. The version published here applies.

Cookies and statistics
